Quote for the week: 24th November 2006
“The future is not a place we are going, but a place we are creating.”

Nau te pahua i au i tenei rangi kei au apopo
Kei nga topito a wha o te ao oku nei hoa
Ka wheeke, ka wheeke i nga ra o Matiti

Today you ransack my possessions, tomorrow will be mine
My friends are on the four corners of the world
Brighter days ahead, we will overcome

Teenaa Koutou Katoa

My name is Robyn Waraki and I would like to tell the world about the little school (Kura) that my (tamariki) children attend. Just to let you all know, this Kura is situated in Rangiriri, just past Te Kanwhata on State Highway 1.

The Kura provides immersion Maori education for students in years 1 8 (ages 5 12 years). The buildings and playground are well maintained and provide an attractive learning environment for students and staff.

1/ A new adventure playground is to be built in the new year, 2007.
2/ We offer transport to all tamariki who attend the Kura.
3/ We have 7 tamariki traveling from the Village of Meremere.
4/ The older tamariki have attended this Kura for 8 years.

They say great things come in small packages. There are 19 tamariki at the Kura. You are most welcome to come along to the Kura and visit any time of the week.

Principal (Tumuaki): Rangiamohia Brown
Relieving Teachers (Pouako Kairiiwhi): Janetta Rakena; Shirley Clark; Tauhe Apihai
Van Driver (Kaforahm Waka): Matua Sonny Coffey

Teenaa koutou, teenaa koutou, teenaa taatou katoa.

Whae Robyn.
