Dear Parents, Tena Koutou

School Banking National Bank School banking begins today. We encourage children to bank regularly.

Wanted On an ongoing basis for a while: Pringles containers, cardboard rolls from lunch wraps etc (not toilet rolls please), lace, buttons, 1kg Fresh & Fruity yoghurt containers, oddments of jeweler and 1 litre cardboard milk containers (clean). Please deliver to Room 4.

Library News We now have loads and loads of lovely new books thanks to the efforts of Linda Hackett, Gretchen Brake and Jocelyn Patterson.
We are looking forward to the arrival of some new furniture and shelving. The ASB Trust money that we received has paid for this.

Absence from School:
Each day we have a number of children who are absent from school.
We find that we have to spend a considerable amount of time ringing parents each day to ascertain why a child is not at school.
Please DO RING and tell us if your child will be away.
 This is made difficult / impossible when we have:
1/ Out of date phone numbers
2/ Mail boxes that are full—so no message can be left
If your child is continually absent from school, I am obliged to contact the Pukekohe Truancy Services.
