Dear Parents / Caregivers & Friends of the School
The end of term one already and haven’t we been spoilt this term with such
amazing weather. Let’s hope it lasts through the holidays so all of our children
can get out and play.
In a recent article from the Sunday Star Times on “over parenting” experts
reinforced the value of children being able to simply play rather than have all
their time organised for them.
A special thank you to the magnificent staff and students at Waiau Pa School who
have worked so hard this term. Thanks also to parents / caregivers who support
our school in a variety of ways.

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY to receive your
refund so give your key to your child if you are unable to get in and I will
give them the $20 at the end of the day.

MUSIC SCHOOL
Is your child interested in learning an
instrument? Affordable music tuition is here!!!!! Papakura Music School can
offers students (Yr 1 – 8) affordable music tuition on Saturday mornings between
8am & 12noon at Mansell Senior School, Settlement Rd, Papakura. Classes are only
$70 for the whole year. Quality instruments available for hire and there is an
additional minimal charge for the use of keyboards and drum kit in class, books
are extra. Your child may be interested in learning; recorder, flute, violin,
